Bringing out the child within

Bringing out the Child Within
We can all forget the child within on times and life can begin to get us down. Day to day life of financial worry and work can start to get on top of us and on times make us feel like we have a heavy weight on our shoulders. Wearing Citrine is considered to stimulate playfulness and may help us find that child within again. Taking time out, getting the balance right between work and play can ensure we relax, allowing those shoulders to drop and feel less tense. Getting the balance right between work and play is so important and many of us including myself struggle with this one. I have to add here that I am getting better at it. My husband used to tell me that most people work from 9am to 5pm but I work 5am to 9pm LOL…. and he was right. But apart from the odd occasion I now work shorter hours and play more.fagin-14

Citrine is a lovely golden yellow colour and is referred to as ‘The Merchants Stone’ in many books as it is believed to attract prosperity. Citrine is thought to have the ability to absorb, transmute, dissipate and ground negative energy so never needs cleansing making it an excellent choice to protect your environment. It is a crystal that is linked to the solar plexus where the upper part of the digestive system is positioned, just under the diaphragm. Citrine is considered to stimulate playfulness and encourages a creative imagination. It is felt that it will help you focus on what you want, encouraging decisiveness and allowing you to manifest what you want in life.
