Day 3 – Applecross

The journey to Applecross was challenging with more single track roads with passing places, we opted not to go over the pass with all the hairpin bends and high drops, but the lower road was still quite challenging. We met up with some highland cattle stood in the middle of the road and it took a bit of time for them to decide to move. They had big horns and there was also a large black bull amongst them and calves so we were not going to argue with them. Applecross was right on the sea and we had lovely views and got a chance to get out our awning to try it out.
